Decarbonizing, (also) means better waste management!
The circular economy is also at the heart of a partnership project with Pays Basque Industrie

EBL, a Groupe Artzainak member, is a trailblazer in the plastic and polymer processing industry.
It has been committed to reconciling product sustainability with minimizing its environmental impact for years. To meet the challenge of recycling plastics, it has reduced its reliance on virgin plastic, processing recycled materials instead. In 2023, EBL incorporated 87% of recycled plastic into its injection and thermoforming processes, which earned it the MORE Label (MObilized to REcycle), issued by Polyvia.
EBL works in conjunction with Pays Basque Industrie – Euskal Industriak on the IPARLA project to recycle industrial plastics efficiently and sustainably, which is further proof of its circular economy credentials.
The IPARLA project has set itself three primary goals: 1) map plastics leaving the factory to optimize their management, 2) develop innovative methods for improving the recycling rate, and 3) set up an entirely local Basque Country recycling stream.
These initiatives are part of a circular economy approach that supports local industry’s environmentally friendly efforts. They also match Groupe Artzainak’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) charter, and so underscore our commitment to sustainable environmental practices.
Let’s thrust production towards a more circular and responsible economy together.
